UCB is proud of its commitment to the communities in which we operate. Initiatives are focused on improving the lives of people in the communities in which we serve. Through partnering and participation in many agencies, we are able to deliver measurable results that provide our local communities with the support they need.  We provide financial education through our Smart Money classes provided to the community at large.

But community involvement at UCB goes beyond just financial commitment. Year after year our employees volunteer considerable time to charitable organizations, literary groups, and church and youth organizations.

We celebrate and recognize our employee volunteers that demonstrate UCB’s resolve to maintain the tradition of neighbor helping neighbor.

UCB believes in supporting positive behavior and responsibility in children and young adults, whether it is providing sponsorship of youth activities, providing academic scholarships, or providing support and guidance as a positive role model.

UCB has received awards and recognition for its community involvement. From the Houston, Texas SBA District Office UCB received the 2005 Top Exporter Lender Award.
