United Central Bank is not responsible for customer errors or negligent use of United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking and will not be liable for losses due to: Negligent handling or sharing of passwords leading to unauthorized access to accounts; Data input errors; Leaving your computer unattended during access, especially in public places; Not signing off to end session; Failure to report known incidents of unauthorized account access within 2 business days. This OnLine Banking Agreement (the "OnLine Banking Agreement") for accessing your accounts via United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking explains the terms and conditions governing the following OnLine Banking services: account access, and other services offered through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking (collectively, the "OnLine Banking Financial Services"). By using the OnLine Banking Financial Services you agree to abide by the terms and conditions of this OnLine Banking Agreement. This OnLine Banking Agreement will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with all applicable federal laws and regulations and the laws of the state of Texas. Your use of United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking may also be affected by the agreements between us for your deposit, credit card, and other linked accounts. When you link accounts to United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking, this does not change the agreements you already have with us on those accounts. For example, when you use United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking to access an account, you do so under the terms and conditions we gave you in the agreement and disclosure for the account. You should review those agreements for any applicable fees, for limitations on the number of transfers you can make, and for other restrictions which might impact your use of an account with United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking. The following rules will apply to the extent there is no applicable federal law or regulation. The terms "we," "us," "our," and "Bank" refer to United Central Bank, or one of its affiliates. "You" refers to each signer on an account. The term "business day" shall mean every day except Saturdays, Sundays and federal banking holidays.
A. Requirements for use to access your accounts- Through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking, you must have an eligible account (listed below) and an OnLine Banking Personal Identification Number (PIN). In addition, you must have the required software. Minimum system requirements for access are Microsoft Internet Explorer 6sp1 or Netscape ver. 8. All United Central Bank personal deposit accounts are eligible accounts provided you are a signer, co-signer or the owner or co-owner of the account. The account owner is required to approve access for authorized signers.
B. Fees - There are no monthly or transaction fees for accessing your personal account(s) through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking. Other fees, as described in the deposit account information, may apply to services ordered by OnLine Banking and to transfers to and from your accounts.
C. New Services - United Central Bank may, from time to time, introduce new OnLine Banking Financial Services. We shall update this OnLine Banking Agreement to notify you of the existence of these new services. By using these services when they become available, you agree to be bound by the terms contained in this OnLine Banking Agreement. Notification of new services may also be shown in the remarks section on the first page of the United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking screen or we may notify you via e-mail if you provide us with your e-mail address.
D. United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking Advantages - United Central OnLine Banking offers you the convenience to review your account information anywhere you can access the Internet. You may use United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking to: View account balances and transaction history; Transfer money between accounts; Set up an Automatic Transfer to make monthly transfers from one account to another; View copies of cleared checks and past monthly statements.
The first time you access any of your accounts through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking confirms your agreement to be bound by all the terms and conditions of this OnLine Banking Agreement and acknowledges your receipt and understanding of this disclosure.
A. Your Personal Identification Number (PIN) - You will be given a PIN number that will give you access to your accounts through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking. United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking will prompt you to change your PIN the first time you log on. If you forget your PIN, you may notify United Central Bank. We recommend that you change your PIN regularly. The Bank is entitled to act on instructions received under your PIN. For security purposes, it is recommended that you memorize this OnLine Banking PIN and do not write it down. You are responsible for keeping your PIN and account data confidential.
B. Eligible Account - If you close the eligible account, you must notify Customer Service and identify a new payment account for the selected services. Additionally, if you close all your accounts, you must notify United Central Banks’ Customer Service to cancel your OnLine Banking Financial Services. Your OnLine Banking Financial Services may be canceled at any time without prior notice due to insufficient funds in one of your accounts. After cancellation, OnLine Banking Financial Services may be reinstated, once sufficient funds are available in your accounts, to cover any fees and other pending transfers or debits. In order to reinstate your services, you must call United Central Bank Customer Service at 972-487-1505. If you do not access your accounts via United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking for any three-month period, we reserve the right to disconnect your service. You agree to be responsible for any OnLine Banking service provider and telephone charges, which you incur by accessing your accounts through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking. If you wish to cancel any of your OnLine Banking Financial Services offered through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking, please contact United Central Bank Customer Service at 972-487-1505 or send cancellation instructions in writing to United Central Bank, 4555 W. Walnut St., Garland, TX 75042.
C. Our Liability - Except as specifically provided in this OnLine Banking Agreement or where the law requires a different standard, you agree that neither we nor the service providers shall be responsible for any loss, property damage or bodily injury, any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages whether caused by the equipment, software, the Bank, OR by Internet browser providers such as Netscape¨ (Netscape Navigator¨ browser) and Microsoft¨ (Microsoft Internet Explorer¨ browser), OR by Internet access providers OR by OnLine Banking service providers OR by an agent or subcontractor of any of the foregoing, nor shall we or the service providers be responsible for any direct, indirect, special or consequential, economic or other damages arising in any way out of the installation, use or maintenance of the equipment, software, the OnLine Banking Financial Services, or Internet browser or access software.
D. Hours of Accessibility - You can access your accounts through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking seven days a week, 24 hours a day. However, at certain times, some or all of United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking may not be available due to system maintenance. A transfer initiated through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking before 5:00 PM (Central Time) on a business day is posted to your account the same day. All transfers completed after 5:00 PM (Central Time) on a business day or on a Saturday, Sunday or banking holiday, will be posted on the next business day. Our business days are Monday through Friday, except for banking holidays. "Banking Holidays" shall mean all federal banking holidays.
E. Obtaining Account Balance and Transaction History - You can obtain balance and transaction history on all eligible accounts that are enrolled in United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking. See Section 2 for specific accounts accessible through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking. Account balance and transaction history reflects activity through the close of the previous business day.
F. Transferring Funds - The number of transfers from accounts may be limited as described in the applicable portions of the deposit account information. If a” hold" has been placed on deposits made to an account from which you wish to transfer funds, you cannot transfer the portion of the funds held until the "hold" has been released.
A. Changes to Charges, Fees or Other Terms - United Central Bank reserves the right to change the charges, fees or other terms described in this OnLine Banking Agreement. When changes are made to any fees, charges, or other material terms, we will update this OnLine Banking Agreement and either send a notice to you at the address shown on our records, or send you an electronic mail message (E-mail). The notice will be posted or sent at least thirty (30) days in advance of the effective date of any additional fees for OnLine Banking transactions, or of any stricter limits on the type, amount or frequency of transactions or any increase in your responsibility for unauthorized transactions, unless an immediate change is necessary to maintain the security of the system. If such a change is made, and it can be disclosed without jeopardizing the security of the system, we will provide you with electronic or written notice within thirty (30) days after the change. You may choose to accept or decline changes by continuing or discontinuing the accounts or services to which these changes relate. We also reserve the option, in our business judgment, to waive, reduce or reverse charges or fees in individual situations. Changes to fees applicable to specific accounts are governed by the applicable Depositor Contract and the deposit account information.
B. Disclosure of Account Information - You authorize the Bank and each of its affiliates to disclose to third parties, agents, and affiliates, such as independent auditors, consultants or attorneys, information you have provided or that we or our affiliates have obtained about your accounts and the transfers you make: to comply with government agencies or court orders or requests; or to verify the existence and condition of your account for a third party, such as a credit bureau or merchant; or where it is necessary for completing transfers; or to provide services relating to your account; or if you give us your further written permission.
C. Questions or Error Correction on OnLine Banking - In case of questions or errors about OnLine Banking funds transfers through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking involving a Bank account, you should do one of the following: Contact United Central Bank at 972-487-1505, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Saturdays, except for banking holidays. "Banking holidays" shall mean all federal banking holidays. Write to United Central Bank, 4555 W. Walnut St., Garland, TX 75042, as soon as you identify any errors or discrepancies in your statement or transaction record, or if you need more information about a transaction listed on the statement or transaction record. You must notify United Central Bank no later than sixty (60) days after we have sent the first paper or OnLine Banking statement on which the problem or error appeared. If you notify us verbally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within ten (10) business days. When you notify us about the problem, please: Tell us your name and account number; describe the error or the transaction you are unsure about and explain why you believe it is in error or what additional information you need; tell us the dollar amount of any suspected error. If we do not complete a transfer to or from your Bank account on time or in the correct amount according to our agreement with you, we will be liable for your losses or damages. However, there are some exceptions. We will not be liable: If, through no fault of ours, you do not have enough money in your account to make a transfer; If a legal order directs us to prohibit withdrawals from the account; If your account is closed or if it has been frozen; If the transfer would cause your balance to go over the credit limit for any credit arrangement set up to cover overdrafts; If you, or anyone you allow, commits any fraud or violates any law or regulation; If any electronic terminal, telecommunication device or any part of the electronic fund transfer system is not working properly; If you have not properly followed the instructions for using United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking; If circumstances beyond our control (such as fire, flood or improper transmission or handling of payments by a third party) prevent the transfer, despite reasonable precautions taken by us.
D. Other General Terms/Other Agreements - In addition to this OnLine Banking Agreement you agree to be bound by and will comply with the requirements of the applicable portions of the deposit account information, the Bank's rules and regulations, the rules and regulations of any funds transfer system to which the Bank belongs, and any applicable state and federal laws and regulations. We agree to be bound by them also.
E. Bank's Right to Terminate this Agreement -The Bank reserves the right to terminate this OnLine Banking Agreement and your access to OnLine Banking Financial Services through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking, in whole or in part, at any time.
F. No Third Party Access - You further agree to not permit any third parties to have access to your account at United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking.
G. Assignment - The Bank may assign this OnLine Banking Agreement to its parent corporation or to any now-existing or future direct or indirect subsidiary of its parent corporation. The Bank may also assign or delegate certain of its rights and responsibilities under this OnLine Banking Agreement to independent contractors or other third parties.
A. Preventing Misuse of Your Account -Your role is extremely important in the prevention of any wrongful use of your account. You must promptly examine your statement upon receipt. If you find that your records and ours disagree, you must immediately contact United Central Banks’ Customer Service at 1-800-787-0755.
Protecting Personal Information - In addition to protecting your account information, you should take precautions to protect your personal identification information, such as your driver's license, Social Security Number, etc. This information by itself or together with information on your account may allow unauthorized access to your account(s). It is your responsibility to protect personal information with the same level of care that you protect your account information.
Safeguard Your OnLine Banking Personal Identification Number (PIN) - The PIN that is used to gain access to OnLine Banking Financial Services through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking should be kept confidential. For your protection we recommend that you change your OnLine Banking PIN regularly. We recommend that you memorize this OnLine Banking PIN and do not write it down. You are responsible for keeping your PIN, account numbers and other account data confidential. If you believe that your OnLine Banking PIN may have been lost or stolen, or that someone has transferred or may transfer money from your account without your permission, notify United Central Banks’ Customer Service at once at 972-487-1505 or 1-800-787-0755.
B. Unauthorized Transactions in Your Accounts - Notify us at once if you believe another person has improperly obtained your OnLine Banking Personal Identification Number (PIN). Also notify us if someone has transferred or may transfer money from your Bank deposit account without your permission, or if you suspect any fraudulent activity on your account. Only reveal your account number to a legitimate entity for a purpose you authorize (such as your insurance company for automatic payments). To notify us, contact United Central Bank Customer Service at 972-487-1505, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Saturdays, except for banking holidays. "Banking holidays" shall mean all federal banking holidays, or write to United Central Bank, 4555 W. Walnut St., Garland, TX 75042. If your OnLine Banking PIN has been compromised and you notify us within two (2) business days after you learn of the loss or theft, you can lose no more than $50 if someone used your OnLine Banking password without your permission to access a Bank deposit account. If you do NOT notify us within two (2) business days after you learn of the loss or theft, and we could have stopped someone from taking money without your permission had you told us, you could lose as much as $500. Also, if your statement shows withdrawals, transfers or purchases that you did not make or authorize, please notify us at once. If you do not notify us within sixty (60) days after the paper or OnLine Banking statement was sent to you, and we could have stopped someone from taking money if you had told us in time, you may not get back any money lost after the sixty (60) days.
You should note that on accessing United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking, you may incur charges for: Normal account fees and service charges, any Internet service provider fees, Payments or transfers made through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking from a savings account may result in an excess transaction fee. See your savings or money market account for details. Additionally, fees may be assessed for added features of United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking such as check and statement copy orders, and non-sufficient funds. Please consult your deposit account information to see if your accounts qualify for these fees.

A. Using the Service - The Bill Pay Service ("Bill Pay") allows you to schedule bill payments through United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking. You can arrange, at your option, for the payment of your current, future and recurring bills from one or more of your United Central Bank checking accounts. There is no limit to the number of payments that may be authorized. You may pay any merchant or individual approved by United Central Bank for payment through the Bill Pay Service. By furnishing us with the names of your payees/merchants and their addresses, you authorize us to follow the payment instructions to these payees/merchants that you provide us via United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking. When we receive a payment instruction (for the current or a future date), we will remit funds to the payee on your behalf, from the funds in your selected account, on the day you have instructed them to be sent ("Payment Date"). However, we shall not be obligated to make any such payment unless your account and/or overdraft protection plan has sufficient funds or credit availability to pay the bill on the Payment Date. Funds for ALL electronic bill payments will be withdrawn from your account ON THE DAY the payment is scheduled TO BE SENT TO THE PAYEE. Payments made by Check will be sent on the day the payment is scheduled TO BE SENT TO THE PAYEE and will clear your account the same as if you wrote the check yourself. You have the right to stop or change any scheduled payment. You must cancel the payment by no later than 11:00 AM (Central Time), on the Payment Date, by using the DELETE function on the View Scheduled Payments page. NOTE: Any payments made with Bill Pay requires sufficient time for your payee to credit your account properly. To avoid incurring a finance charge or other charge, you must schedule a payment sufficiently in advance of the due date of your payment. When you schedule payments: YOU MUST SCHEDULE CHECK PAYMENTS AT LEAST 5 FULL BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE THE PAYMENT IS DUE AT YOUR PAYEE. YOU MUST SCHEDULE ELECTRONIC PAYMENTS AT LEAST 2 FULL BUSINESS DAYS PRIOR TO THE DATE THE PAYMENT IS DUE AT YOUR PAYEE. We shall not be responsible for any charges imposed or any other action taken by a payee resulting from a payment that you have not scheduled properly, including any applicable finance charges and late fees. In addition, we will not be liable if any third party through whom any bill payment is made fails to properly transmit the payment to the intended payee. We will also not be liable if there are insufficient funds or credit availability in your designated payment account and/or overdraft protection plan; if a legal order directs us to prohibit withdrawals from the payment account; if the payment account is closed or frozen; or if any part of the electronic funds transfer system is not working properly. We will not be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages arising out of the use of Bill Pay. United Central Bank reserves the right to terminate your use of Bill Pay at any time. If, for any reason, you should ever wish to cancel United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking, we strongly suggest that you cancel all future bill payments at the same time that you cancel your service by deleting those payments yourself using United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking. This will ensure that future payments and transfers made by you will not be duplicated. We will continue to maintain your accounts until you notify us otherwise.
B. Bill Pay Fees An initial set up fee of $5.95 will be assessed for activation of the Bill Payment feature of United Central Banks’ OnLine Banking. There is no monthly service charge incurred for this service, however, as with any manual transaction, insufficient fees and stop payment fees apply. In addition, fees listed under section 6 (other charges and fees) may also apply.
